ABOUT US

Dalia is a fourth year Psychology (B.S) Major who is inspired by members of the OT world. She hopes to one day do the same as she pursues her career in OT! Dalia looks forward to making a difference in people’s daily lives and improving their quality of living. She is currently a volunteer at Tumble N’ Dots, an OT focused pediatric clinic, and works part time as a PT aide at an orthopedic physical therapy clinic. Dalia is grateful to be a part of a community with similar values and goals. She is excited to meet new members and watch the Pre-OT club at UCI grow :)

Celeste is a third-year Psychological Science major interested in pediatric/school-based OT. She is passionate about working with individuals to help them achieve their unique developmental goals, improve their independence, and boost their overall confidence. Currently, Celeste volunteers at Karate For All, shadows at Centra Pediatric Therapy, and assists school-based occupational therapists in a kindergarten classroom. In her free time, she enjoys playing sports with her siblings, discovering new music, and trying out new foods with friends. Celeste is excited to continue to explore the world of occupational therapy alongside other driven pre-OTs!

Kimberly is a third year psychology (B.S) major who hopes to pursue a career in OT and inspire others to do the same. She can’t wait to gain more hands on OT experience and work with others who feel the same. In the past she has worked as a behavior technician, helping children with autism develop communication, social, and daily living skills. Kimberly enjoys working directly with clients of all ages, using creative strategies to tailor interventions to meet their unique needs. Her overall goal is to empower people, helping them lead fulfilling lives and achieve their personal goals. 

Iris is a fourth year Psychology B.S. major who has grown great interest in the interpersonal approach of occupational therapy. She deeply admired the personalized treatment plans that is given to patients in this field and hopes to explore outpatient manual therapy or the hospital setting. She currently volunteers at Tumble N Dots and shadows both physical and occupational therapists at SoCal Elite Physical Therapy. When she isn’t studying or shadowing, she love to try out new food spots (@irisleeeats on IG), or going on a run outdoors. She is excited to meet like minded people and challenge her interests of those who want to go into a different setting!

Hi everyone! My name is Helena, and I’m excited to be this year’s Publicity Chair!

I’ve always been drawn to working in pediatrics, and once I discovered OT, I knew it was the perfect fit for me. I love how hands-on and rewarding it is, especially being able to build connections with patients.

A little bit about me, I’m from Florida, a big matcha fan, huge fan of Harry Styles, horror movies/TV shows are my favorite, and I can speak Spanish! Can’t wait to meet you all! :)

Andrea is a fourth-year transfer student and a social ecology major entering the world of occupational therapy (OT). She hopes to pursue OT to help others and make a difference in people's lives. Andrea looks forward to starting her path by volunteering and shadowing to gain experience in her OT journey. In her free time, she enjoys painting, drawing, and photography. Andrea is excited to continue progressing in her OT journey with her ambitious pre-OT peers.
